If you’re just starting out with an online biz I’m guessing you might be worrying about your website, creating a brand or logo…and maybe even getting old-school biz cards for when you still go to those in-person network meetings?

Yup, I know because I did all that…and looking back, I wish I hadn’t spent all that time and money at the beginning because it really doesn’t matter that much.

Say WHAAAAT???

Don’t worry…I’m not saying that you don’t need a website and all those other bells and whistles…yes, you ultimately do…

But you don’t need them all to be perfectly in place at the beginning…and if you spend all your time focusing on those things, you’re not bringing in clients.

Here’s the bottom line when you’re starting out:

>> Your website is NOT bringing you clients – sorry, but literally no one even knows it exists when you launch.

>> If you’re just starting your biz, you really don’t know your brand and believe me, ain’t no one coming to work with you because of your logo!!

>> Biz cards get thrown in a drawer – sure get some, have ‘em handy…but stop spending time and energy figuring out exactly how they should look.

So stop spinning your wheels on the perfect website or logo or biz cards or tagline – just go with what you have right now because chances are you’ll change all of these things in a few months when you really start to work with clients and get much clearer about your value, your brand, your true niche.

Focus on what really matters – the income-producing activities:

>> Get visible on social media and start sharing your message.

>> Position yourself as an expert by sharing great content.

>> Put your package together and make offers to get prospective clients on the phone.

You’ve got this <3
