Ever had someone reach out to you saying they just LOVE what you’re doing and they HAVE to speak to you ASAP?

So you’re super-excited to jump on the phone because clearly this person has been following you for a while and you know going in that the trust factor is high…it’ll be a great connection with her, right?

And that’s exactly what happens. You listen to where she’s at…you help her understand why what she’s doing is keeping her stuck, and you spend time showing her exactly how she can fix it and make her life better.

Then she signs as your client and pays in full – yay!  And everyone lives happily ever after…The End.

Yeah…not so much, right?

Of course, that’s what you think is gonna happen…because the whole call has been so awesome…you’ve really bonded…she clearly sees the value you’re offering…and she absolutely KNOWS you can help her.

But instead of hearing, “Yes, I can’t wait to get started.”

You hear some version of this instead:

>> I’d just love to, but I don’t have any money right now.

>> I need to talk this over with my husband and he doesn’t really understand why I need this help.

>> I have to think about it/meditate on it/pray about it.

Or my absolute favorite:

>> Could you split that up…into 10-15 payments…that I can make over the next year/after I get results.

Oi…it’s so frustrating, isn’t it?

Because the truth is they probably never had any intention of moving forward with you in the first place…they just wanted to pick your brain for free…and “sample the goods.”

And hey…no judgment here because we’ve all “sampled the goods” at some point, right?

Ever picked up the free samples they’re offering at the grocery store or gone for a test-drive in a car you’re planning to own 2 years from now?
